June 4, 2010 - Friday.
Yesterday we took Sire for a hike along the 'Hunters Trial'. We left late, and it was hot. About 1/2 way through the trail we decided to turn back. It was not interesting and the stream that we were following was stagnant. As we were leaving, we ran into our RV neighbors, which was incredible because there are 1000's and 1000's of trails here. We ended up coming back home and napping, (which is THE best invention, EVER!) Around 7:30 we headed over to the Rodeo. The sweet little 80 yr old women who owns this park also owns stables, and an arena and alot of other property attached to this park so it was all walking distance. The rodeo was good except for the way they lasso the baby cows and throw them down and tie them up. It was awesome when some of them got away because the cowboys missed on their lasso's. The bull riding was impressive. Those guys are NUTS. Today, is another lazy day. I think we will head into town and find some hiking boots for Tommy. He insists on wearing his sneakers and some of these rocks that we climb are so steep you have to lean into them so you done fall. Have a good day, and if you read this, please 'follow' me. I am so interested in who actually does read this.
It's hot here too. But I'm sure you don't have the humidity!!
